Over Seven Decades of Ministry
Since our establishment in 1941, the Warm Springs Rd. congregation has been blessed to be a community of believers bent on doing one thing, being a church where truth and love are supreme.
Starting from Humble Beginnings
Originally the Waverly Ave. congregation, in what is now called the Midtown area of Columbus (in a small building just blocks from what would one day be Midtown Medical Center) began meeting with our first minister being Eris Benson. Brother Benson would spend a long tenure as an English and Bible teacher at what is now Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL.
Eventually, our church family moved to Jordan City and eventually changed its name to the Warm Springs Rd. Church of Christ. Over those seven decades our church family has seen many ups and downs. Thankfully, due to the grace and blood of Jesus we have been able to continue to be a place where disciples gather to be encouraged in our faith and worship our Lord.
Always the Truth Always in Love
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
- Ephesians 4:15
Our Beliefs About...
A great place to worship. It's small and personable with young families. I see a lot of growth potential with a growing city like Columbus.
Wonderful place to call my worship home! Awesome service!
Very good classes, my kids had a good time and my guests liked it too. Great teachers.
Loving faithful congregation of the Lord's people.
